Just landed at the Motorhome park here in Tavira.
Yesterday they were f'lup but the wet stuff seems to have created vacancies so we were able to get in without any problems.

We are a little further along at Falésia (Cliff) site. Well actually Serina is there, I’m in Cornwall at the moment.

Was in Cabanas a few days ago. Went to Tavira regularly on my bike(5km Cycle,) which is a fabulous town. But your site/site was rammed hence Cabanas. The Aire/site is in a great location near the shopping centre so worth going there. Thoroughly recommend Tavira but if your site is full, camping Ria Formosa in Cabanas has a great pool, even better restaurant and is an option to see Tavira by bike.

Ria Formosa pre COVID were 'precious' and invariably insisted that you had to book the site via C&CC.
They in turn would not book a foreign campsite unless you had bought a crossing from them. They had a £75 admin charge should you wish to continue with a booking.
Stalemate.
I pointed out to C&CC that they did not insist on the latter clause for the many 'members' (loose description) who lived in mainland Europe.
As a consequence, today there is no chance of Formosa ever getting my custom.
