Unless you 'need' to actually drive into town, I'd avoid it.

Do as the Londoners do, use public transport.
It's under 2hrs Darby into St Pancras or Euston and it's a ten min walk from there.

If you are taking the MoHo and want to camp nearby your best bet would a campsite within walking distance of a station on the 'BedPan' line,
Luton, Harpenden, St Albans area. All of which would put you at St Pancras within 30 mins.
