Looked at both. Cliffs Bay i have put NO on my notes, cannot remember why, would have to go back and look again to know why.
Nicholason Farm i have put, MAYBE, looks ok, EHU, Bus Stop, Pub 5 miles. Rest/cafe/take away on site.

The Gower is gorgeous. We went there a few years ago but didn’t bother with campsites. We found several great places to stay, including Rhosili National Trust and several good pub stops.

I think the Three Cliffs Bay site pricing skyrocketed over the last few years? It is a great location if you get a sea view at the front of the cliff with good weather. The beach is gorgeous.

Can walk from both campsites along the beach to a hotel/restaurant/pub. I think there is another restaurant along there run by one of the Welsh entrants to ‘Great British Menu’, but could be wrong?
Need to be aware of incoming tide for the return journey. ;)

No going back now.
Booked confirmed and paid for 6 nights from 28th June at Pitton Cross.
Sure your help and my research will ensure a total disaster :ROFLMAO:
First time on The Gower so really looking forward to it.
Will decide on day of arrival if hire car would benefit.
Once again thanks for your invaluable input.

I have looked at that, however it states "A club site for members", we are not members. I think it is worth my PA at least making a call to them.
Top of the list so far is Pitton Cross.
Hard work this research.
There's the CAMC site and there is the council owned site which is nearer the beach.

A bit confusing for a first time visitor,
there is a "members club park" within the boundaries
of the very much larger Pembrey Country Park,
which is open to all visitors, plenty of parking
but without the services of a " site"
You will rrally love it.

The one i've booked is fully serviced hard standing EHU.
There was no mention on line about a "Club" site.
I love element of surprise

Carfai Bay. If you can get a cliff top pitch, it must be one of he best about. Embrace the wind, its not going to budge 3500 KG, but will make for a spectacular veiw of the sea whilst enjoying a glass or two. St Davids a short walk away, try the Cwtch for a special meal.

Sadly the Cwtch is no longer.

And the winds on the cliff top pitches can be damaging if high. I have had a new awning torn along its seams in strong winds there.
However, its a great view and lovely place and would certainly enjoy a stay there.

We stayed there as a gale was coming in, and caravan owners were panicking and pulling their cars across in front of their vans to stop them being lifted up.
Shame about the Cwtch, nice friendly high quality food.
