I had an email and text last week from the NHS inviting me for my 4th jab as I am considered "vulnerable"

If you have been jabbed three times already it doesn’t say much for its effectiveness at preventing covid infection. Mind you, it’s supposed to lessen severity so that’s a plus.

That's why I have been called back as it was so long since I had my last one. The effects of the jab don't last for ever like a Pneumonia jab for instance.

The wretched thing is constantly mutating so I expect we will need further jabs in the future but hopefully at some stage we will have enough immunity so that the effects are similar to a cold for most people.

It'll be annual - just like the flu jab [which, incidentally, is also tweaked each year to best meet the dominant variant].

Thankfully, we work remotely so I won't see them for at least 4 weeks
