I had to do it once in the eighty’s , army on manoeuvres in Germany, arched bridge we didn’t fancy going back on ourselves for 15 odd miles or so, luckily we had a tyre inflate system on boardHence National Tyres in attendance.
I once had to lower the air suspension on both the trailer and the unit, to crawl under a low bridge which wasn't signposted on the approach route.
There is a low bridge on a road near the CAMC Site at Gowerton, whereupon I have to lower the suspension on the MH, to make sure I clear it.
