Where going upto Scotland end of June and was asking if people could give us some good sites esp around the lochs...

Will look at the Isle's & mountain peaks too, all preferably dog friendly as our RFL lurves the water and can sniff it out miles away... Quiet but not just us 3 in a field an noone else for 100 miles and pref near a good local pub too...

Not asking for much am l :giggle:

We're away for around 18 days (3 for travelling up an back with stop overs)

Many thanks in advance,

Many many thanks to all who have mentioned places to go, all is much appreciated..

Would also like to know is do many of you use sat navs or the good ole paper maps or just Google maps and plenty of finger crossings 🤭 for those tight roads

Milarrochy CCC site …. we went last year and are going back this year! Great for entering the Loch with paddle boards, canoes etc … if your luck you can get a pitch over looking the Loch👍🏻😉
Thankyou will look into that esp the looking over the Loch... we have one pitch booked at Loch Lomond right next to the Loch over looking it..

I can recommend https://gairlochholidaypark.co.uk/ and https://www.sandscaravanandcamping.co.uk/ just a little further along from Gairloch near the stunning Loch Maree. Or on the Moray Firth, Rosemarkie CCC site where your van overlooks the Firth and there's a very good chance of watching large pods of dolphins from the shore just after low tide.
Or if you intend coming back down the A9 try https://atholl-estates.co.uk/stay-with-us/caravan-park/ a stunning site about 10 miles north of Pitlochrie.
Where ever you go enjoy, Scotland is beautiful but just remember, nobody comes to Scotland for the weather.... unless you enjoy skiing ;)
