Awful to lose a loved one, whether human or otherwise. Great memories will love on. I’m so sorry to hear of your loss.
 
So sorry to hear your loss of Bear ,just try and think of all the good years you had with your old friend .

Sorry to hear this....we have recently gone through the same. We had to say goodbye to Sprocket, our 14 year old Springer 3 weeks ago..... very difficult & emotional time but it does get easier...❤️
 
All dog owners go through the this. Our 16+ Jack Russel cross bitch was put down with raging pancreatic cancer. So we sat and where having a wake, phone goes my mate said fancy a pint. Can't I said cannot drive, on the second bottle of red. What's happened, me dog died. Lovely guy, died some year later from the big C himself but did not understand the connection with the dog. We have been 15years without until the latest was Gifted to us by youngest son. Maybe this one will outlast me?.

Sad news indeed.

We lost our much loved GSD/Border Collie cross in February and still miss stepping over her in the motorhome.
 
I’ve been brought up and had dogs all my life and my last two just grew old and a visit to the vets came.

Me and the wife cried for days and that was 4 years ago and a home is not a home without an animal.

My heart goes out to you and know first hand how hard it is loosing a loved one specially a dog they are family.

Keep smiling, think of the good times and never loose those memories.
 
We truly feel your pain and so sorry you have lost your beautiful Golden Retriever.

Our 13 YO Golden Retriever is just about hanging on and we just treasure everyday we have him.

So sorry for your loss, our pets become our children and loosing them is so painful. You did the best job you could and he will always be with you in your heart. RIP lovely Bear.
 
I feel your pain it rips your insides out like nothing else :cry: RIP Bear and to our Staffie of the same name that we said goodbye to suddenly this year :cry: he was only two :cry: We have two dogs and our new to us Rescue has so many of our Bears behaviours I swear hes come back but with some different character to add to the mix aswell. Take Care thinking of you xxxx

So sad, but if it is of any comfort, a loved one is never lost, the memory lives on as does that which is capable of thought

So sorry to hear your story, We have just lost the second one of our two 6 weeks ago,,So upset, both of us.But we have just decided to fill the big hole in our house and have just bought a puppy, Same make but a different colour. 74 yrs old and we have puppy training to look forward to.. Just can't live without them.
Strange thing is that all our baby's have been Bears. whatever name they have, we call them our bears. so soon, we welcome Kizzy bear into our lives. Happy but have tears writing this. All the best to you bruce
