Good news spains opening up mid may

Does anyone remember last summer? We had been locked down in the spring but were encouraged to eat out, travel to work and get back to normal.. Even without any vaccine or really knowing what the best treatment was.

Big big difference this summer is we have the vaccines. And treatment has improved. We'll be back to (almost) normal by summer 😎👍
And today the number of infections was up on last week and more Brazillian variant cases found so don't hold your breath cos if everyone does not still follow the rules lockdown will continue.:(

not so sure about france opening up
France has relaxed the need for UK residents to have a 'compelling reason to travel' and the necessary decree will be issued tomorrow. IIRC, France reported some 30,303 COVID infections yesterday and there are extra weekend curfews starting in Pas de Calais, plus Nice, where the local lockdown has caused the Paris to Nice Cycle Race to finish away from Nice!

Portugal has today announced an extension to its national lockdown until the end of March, but is expected to publish its plans for a phased reopening of its economy shortly.

Fingers crossed that the European travel permissions can be implemented without further interuption, such as Denmark & Norway suspending Astra Zeneca inoculations because of clotting risks.

NHS England only.
Not available in the other nations of the U.K.
Get it from your App Store on your phone.
NHS Scotland has 'Patient Access' App for booking GP Appointments, ordering repeat prescriptions, some hospital minor treatments clinics etc; and 'Test & Protect' App for COVID Track & Trace. To the best of my knowledge, there isn't [yet?] a facility to have medical history transferred to your phone, but an App may well be under development for a COVID inoculation certificate or passport. The possibility of needing such a document has been known about for a wee while, so background, low key development work ought to have started.

Just seen an article that France is allowing travel from UK, although at the moment still need a test 72 hrs before. This all ties in with being allowed to travel in May by Boris.
We cannot wait to set off, though we take the view that its all well and good us having the two jabs we should have as much vaccine cover that is available by being jabbed. We do not want to go anywhere where there are still restrictions in being visitors. So yes the Med countries will want the tourists but until their countries jab program is well under way I cannot see general tourist activity without restrictions being allowed.
We therefor have come to the conclusion that it will not be back to any degree of normality until at least July/August, so its September for us

Maybe but most of Europe is a long way behind.......

Ours use systemonline.tpp-uk.com
Not being picky. Is that website you have posted up Exactly as spelled.
I ask because our practice uses an almost identically spelled website but ours seems to be spelled wrongly and its a devil to get right.
In ours, the word 'system' within the address is spelled wrong, the 'e' is missing.

You're right never noticed that 👍

There will be no "normality" again, at least not for a very long time, good news about places opening up, but will a lot of holidaymakers behave how they should with a pandemic??, somehow i doubt it, if they did there wouldn't be the need for as many restrictions on travel.
