Nah, that’s lager. In the first pub I used to frequent they only sold lager in half’s as it was for the ladies.

Its subtle and usually an indirect rather than direct flavouring (far away from Lilt )

Well i wouldnt have paid £1.49 for it , but at 49p i took the chance and its paid off.

My mum used to drink larger and lime. Me and dad stuck to bitter that was sold at room temperature with no fizz pored from an enamel jug because there were no pumps.

When I was in my late teens I.P.A. and Barley Wine were old ladies drinks..Fruit and beer,,,no thanks..BUSBY.

In my late teens a Barley Wine or two was a quick way to get somewhat merry at 8% or so, especially when combined with Bells whisky chasers. Oh the folly of youth.

Just been to Morrisons for some beers. The checkout lady on seeing my wallet asked why I hadn’t mentioned I had a BlueLightCard. I said I didn’t realise I could use it there. Turns out I can. That’s 10% off at Morrisons for me then. £1.80 off 12 bottles of beer which were at 4 for £6 to begin with. I’ll be back as someone once said.
