I'm new to this
This is likely to be an obvious thing and/or a daft question but I hope you'll understand...

Having had just 2 brief outings in may new van I've now learnt that bringing / taking fresh & waste water to the van is quicker and easier than packing up, tethering the dog and moving the van! I’ve ordered an aqua roll and waste master but I'm stumped... how do I get the fresh water from the barrel into the van?

I have a two-pin round socket bedsides water inlet valve and understand I need a 12v pump but which pump do I need? Whale sell a 're-fit' kit that asks I drill a hole to fit a 'two-pin' power socket but I already have that fitted. Can anyone recommend a submersible pump that would work or do I need to buy a whole lotta kit I will need to throw away?

With advance thanks for any help

John
PS I forgot to take pictures but hope people will know what I mean.

I have two 10-litre containers, easier to carry than one 20-litre. If it's a long walk I can fix them on the bike pannier carrier with a suitable bit of plywood and a couple of bungee cords. I can fill the containers (still on the bike) with a hose. Then I can lean the bike against the MH and empty them with the pump, again without taking them off the bike. No effort involved, easy to do several trips if necessary.

Why bother to carry all that unnecessary kit if you have a motorhome? I carry 2 short lengths of hose and if they're not long enough a 10ltr carrier.

Not all tanks can be filled using gravity pouring. Some setups are pump/pressurised or not at all.
