After Garmisch, Heidelburg. Great ACSI campsite in Neckargemund. Only 3 weeks earlier the campsite was in the river or a meter under the river. The river busses took us to see Germany's number one attraction, Heidelburg Castle.

What a bargain, €6 buys a cable train ticket up to the castle and entry into the castle. As castles go, on big beast. Hugh gardens. It must have been quite something in it's heyday. Even now, pretty knocked about it's and awesome sight. Great town too. No wonder it's No. 1.

It is a nice site, we have just come back from there. We were there just after the flood. Only a couple of days but loved it. Friendly helpful owners and good cafe/bar on site. We also did the river trip to Heidelberg. River was still full of wood and rubbish. When we left we needed to be towed off the site.
