I change the update rate from the default 3 seconds to the 10.5 second option in the app, and I get 18 months to 2 years of battery life.

On the Mopeka pro you can set default update to 30 seconds so should last a while

I have had them on both cylinders for about 18 months. More than happy with them. Seem accurate. Batteries need replacing every 7-8 months.

My Mopeka is on our underslung tank and accurate.

I have had a Mopeka for at least a couple of years, but am unable to securely fix it to my Gasit underslung tank. I've tried a number of methods but no success. Someone suggested an aluminium sling over the top, under the sensor and across a cross member, which is beyond me. Any other ideas?

I found a position that was just to the left of the valve housing which avoided the internal 80% cut off float interfering with the Mopeka reading.

The sensor is flush with the tank mounting brackets, that's a bit handy.

I made an aluminium cover to hold the sensor in place and give it some protection from road muck and spray.

Watching with interest. I’m looking at the Mopeka Pro <Broken link removed> that comes with a mounting collar. Can’t readily see a U.K. stockist but Carbonzorro in Poland have them so I’ll try their LPG Shop affiliate over here if not direct from the States.
