Hi funsters having picked up my new to me van today it has 1 gadlow cylinder in it and I've never used this system before im going to get a calor bottle as a spate and have read the thread about a change over valve but is there anything I need to checking as I'm guessing some components must have a shelf life

- Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
I have one Gaslow and one Calor both connected to the regulator. I don't need a changeover valve as if the Gaslow ran out I would close its valve and open the valve on the Calor cylinder. Since installing it 8 years ago the Gaslow has never run out as I top it up as soon as it gets low. I don't want an auto changeover as I'd like to know when/if the Gaslow ever ran out.
Is that (chrome) tubing hanging out the fill pipe ??
