Gaslow and autogas availability

Thinking of getting a 2x 11kg Gaslow system in my new van and have been advised to get 1x 11kg Gaslow with a Calor 6kg bottle to cover against not finding any LPG. Good advice? Any opinions welcome being new top all this.

I think my biggest fill was 52lt.

Since my two tanks only hold a nominal 44L, if I used as much as you I would suspect a substantial leak

56 lt for me 2 x 14kg bottles.

I would jump straight in with the 2x11kg refillables (I did) as it’s not been an issue finding Autogas locations on our travels in the U.K. - and even less of an issue abroad.

BTW locating 6kg Calor propane might be more difficult as renters are swapping from the shortly to be discontinued 3.9kg, and they are often in very short supply.

Getting 3.9 exchanges is now near impossible I have 1/2 of one left hoping it will get me to Autogass 2000 in August to have refillable with external filling point fitted.
Basildog doesn't know it yet but I'm hoping for a BBQ point as well

Considering a removeable refillable bottle(s) so I can just take that to a filling station if we are pitched up somewhere.

Are garages sniffy about that? If not, which is the most recommended system?
