Hi funsters I recently had a gas engineer check my 2 year old twin gasit system with auto changeover regulator. He measured low pressure after the regulator and noticed gurgling sound in said regulator. I have ordered a new regulator but he says that the bottles may be over pressure and have to be replaced. Am caught between a rock and a hard place as if the bottles are defective they could damage the new regulator. Any helpful suggestions gratefully appreciated

Definitely one for Basil, but curious. By over pressure does he mean filled with too high a pressure or they let out too high a pressure? Surely this is solved by them being emptied or a new valve? 🤔

i think you need a second opinion, was the engineer lpg / leisure vehicle lpg certified? or just a gas engineer.

More than happy to have a chat with you regarding your Gas It bottles .
Certainly no such thing as over pressure, overfilled is more likely but it could also be heavy ends ( oily substance) in your regulator.
Give me a call if you would like a chat 07549811501
