The "Gas It" gauge in the van says we have 4 bars left in the gas tank Can anyone tell me how accurate they are? Are they like fuel tank gauges ,as in, when the get below half full they seem to fall off a cliff!
Note: There are 10 bars in total on the gauge.

I have a 25lt gas tank in my Autosleeper Nuevo (which we love and is just the right size for us). Before, in our bigger older vans, we always had gas bottles, so I have no idea when I should consider re-filling the gas tank.

I am hoping it will last 5 days so I can fill up before going to France, or should I wait until in France, to save money?

Which reminds me, is there an APP for LPG suppliers in France?

Note: I have a set of gas tank adaptors.

Hi Billylou, I find the Mopeka very accurate so much so that you see slight variations in the % due to the ambient temperature causing the liquid LPG to expand and contract.

Hi Two on Tour scratch that I’ve just found your comments on another thread. Ta

I found a position that was just to the left of the valve housing which avoided the internal 80% cut off float interfering with the Mopeka reading.

Sensor mounted on the tank. - (I have now swapped this sensor for the newer Pro version so I can read the tank level via my Victron gear)

The sensor is flush with the tank mounting brackets, that's a bit handy.

I made an aluminium cover to hold the sensor in place and give it some protection from road muck and spray.

Aluminium cover trial fitted and ready to paint. A selftapped holds the plate in position where the foot of the clamp in the photo is.

I’ve been using Mopeka gauges on the Gaslow and Calor tanks on my previous van and was impressed by them. I’m having a 40ltr underslung tank fitted to our new van and wanted something more accurate than the Gasit gauge. I like what you’ve done.
