Did you have any problems loading the update?


Update :- Took me four attempts but it finally capitulated.

Yes it fried my unit! Took forever to try and upload and in the end the unit gave up the ghost, Garmin say the unit is obsolete ( its four years old!)

Map updates have always been a problem with my 785 since it needed to use the SD card due to the size of the maps. I dread doing them.

Updated a Camper 780LMT, a Camper 760LMT and a nuvi 2460LMT all with no problems

My 2460 I mentioned above is around 12 years old!

My above units have 32Gb, 32Gb and 16Gb micro sd cards in them.

Just finished doing my update. It installed the software updates without a problem. The map update however .... took 10 goes, but I blugeoned it into submission. Device storage 87% full, SD card storage 10% full, 28.53 GB free. So this update took about 3% of my card. Mine is a Camper 780
