Gareth & Phil have fun in Spain 2025.

Have been to Salamanca a few times, loved the motor museum, but those paved areas are lethal when wet. Had to buy some footwear so I could stay upright 😳
Realise we have not done it justice, will spend a little more time there at some point, We stayed at a campsite each time as not too sure how we would do without electric. First time it was snowing, fountains were frozen and our first ever trip abroad in our first motorhome. Glad to say it didn't put us off.

A few more pics from yesterday.
In the first pic phil said do camp, I think i achieved it 😆😆View attachment 1027958
Myth dispelled!
Not the same person. Rarely/ never seen in same photo.

Really enjoying be able to share your travels.
Thanks 😊

Zamora.
Again another town we have been to before but an easy stop to do with a free aire.
We had a good walk around, the castle is free Lenny HB but you have to pay to go into the cathedral with museum.
We also picked up some wine, chocolate and local cheese. Plus some silly hats for phils sisters dogs.
Lunch was a cheap menu del dia, nice enough, especially at €15 a head plus drinks.
Architecture pics soon.

Lovely photos, especially the one of you both together.
That's what I was thinking you both look so happy it's nice to see that you are both there

Fixed the step again. So glad I bought a 13mm spanner at the last China shop, so much easier than my small adjustable spanner.
It has failed 8 times now.
We’re at the aire at Capbreton, parked opposite a Morelo - they have their steps out, and they are HUGE! I’d need a safety rail to hold onto to get up and down safely!

What’s actually wrong with the step Gareth?

Sounds like an inherent design fault if you’re continually having to fix it?
Not sure. We will see what premium come up with. We are booked in after we arrive back in the uk, we have 1 month then back abroad again.

We really enjoyed Leon, we did the wee tourist train which I’d recommend as it’s a lot bigger than you think so lets you see places you can visit later.

León? You're going to have some tapas in the Barrio Húmedo, right? You MUST not miss that:eek:, one of the most important places of tapas in Spain!
As an example, El Rincón Del Gaucho.
Here now, it was rammed so we had alternative bit still grazing and now sat under a gas heater outside a tapas bar 😁😉

We try to visit León once a year (more or less), it's a highlight, as Logroño. You get lost there. Amazing 😍
Enjoy (but you already do🙂)
And León has 3 municipal MH areas, just unbeatable (y)
