Our last 6½ week trip ate out far more than we normally do consumed far too much alcohol than we should, didn't do as much exercise as we normally do.
Came back 3kg lighter, so what you doing wrong.

That's cos you were continually lifting that 25m EHU cable in and out and plugging it in

That's very easy if you know them Gareth is the one drinking beer, Phil is the one drinking wine, it gets confusing when they drink water!

We were tempted to stay and do the Osborne sherry tour at 10am but as we have done the Lustau one before we decided to move on.
Currently sat at camper and van aire just on the outskirts of Jerez.
It's placed next to a garage on a out of town shopping centre, however its €15 a night with full service including electric.
Phil has got the washer going and I'm messing about online.
We will be going into Jerez later but no rush.
We may even have a mooch around ikea as we need some pasta bowls and a new plastic tub to keep my spices in.

We where having a discussion wether to go to Asia end of April or apply for a 6 month French visa.
Awaiting a couple of of replies from different sources which will help our decision.

We got the french visa for 23/24 with no issues and re-applied for 24/25 and got turned down. The French written letter just said “unreliable information” and the application was identical to the previous year so we had no idea why and no way to ask.

Our friends got they’res no issues for 2yrs on the trot but are thinking about going to Asia next winter.

and another friend are on they’re 4th visa with no issues

Absolutely no reason at all which was not understandable to us, also trying to find out is literally impossible.

They say you have to wait a minimum of 60 days to receive a response, you have to send in your letter in French to an embassy in Lyon, they have no requirement to respond if they don’t want, and all this would make it too late to go anyway as your visa start date would have already passed.

TBH it really pee’d me off at the time but it soon wore off and I doubt i’ll ever apply again.

£340 gone with no proper reason so they can do one

To be fair if we didn't sell a artisan burger from a specialist butcher in the lake district I too would be happy enough, I think we spoilt ourselves.

I’m sure it does fair well against your offering, but as you surmised, it’s all relative and compared to other burger establishments, it’s a good bit nicer, IMHO of course!
