Garage transformed in a day

Will you please stop posting pictures of well organised garages ? theres nothing wrong with mine that a good fire wouldnt sort out ? . View attachment 381914
Anyone got a more untidy garage than me ? Come on admit it.

A good garage but not crammed. Plenty of space for a load more "stuff".

All winter when I was unable to travel I kept saying that if the weather was better I would sort through the garage and dump a lot of the accumulated "stuff". Now the weather is ideal the tip is closed and I have no way of disposing of it ?.
I have a similar problem - promised myself I would cut the hedge when the weather improved and, as soon as it did, the council closed the tip. I don't know why though because it would be easier to enforce social distancing there than in a supermarket.

Is that an AJ or a Matchless?
Since you asked...…..

I've been trying to find a reasonable 1947 Matchless 350cc GLE but could be tempted by 1947 Matchless 500cc G80 single.;)

My good lady has a word for the contents of my Manspace. She calls it Manshite.?
As the joke goes...……..

My wife said: "It's me or the bikes".

Funnily enough I still miss her occasionally.

Our tips has been closed for weeks and I cycle past it most every other day. They seem to have the staff there doing bugger all and I agree they could easily manage social distancing for them and visitors.

Shame, I recently sold my '47 AJS Model 16 (same as the '47 GLE but just a different tank badge).
Just one owner before me.

That's rather nice. I'm very fond of big singles (of any nationality). I have a couple of MZs with 660 Yamaha engines. I did many miles on the Continent in the '70s on a 1958 Model 50 eventually enlarged with ES2 bits.

Haven’t got a garage, but if sheds count I’ve been “trying“ to tidy mine for three weeks, it took me four days just to burn the paper, I seem to be moving sh*te from one end to the other!

Yep, the ES2 was also a great bike. My favourites are thumping Brit singles; plodding through country lanes smelling the damp and wild garlic. Coming home late at night I enjoyed my 500 Ajay setting off car alarms.
My neighbour used to say he'd often seen me on his telly..........the un-supressed magneto ignition used to interfere with his T.V. reception :giggle:

If I had a shed that size Denise said it would have to be 50/50 I’m glad she understands me 50% bikes and 50% cars then everyone’s happy ?
Totally agree Steve, send me some nice old Motorbikes and cars! :giggle: (y)

I am so envious of you with big garages you are so lucky?but you know that.
This is mine quite tidy but just to small both length and width.
This was taken may be a year ago but is very much the same today?
I do like the old bikes but I would not ride one now.
When we bought the house over three decades ago you could get a double garage but it was another five thousand and at the time we just could not afford it.
When the kids where at home we wanted room within the house.
I would imagine many of you are like me and the wife the kids leave and you rattle around the house and garden.
And there is not enough room to extend?my garage now.

Any way keep up all the serling work and keep your selfs safe??

It’s no fun having a little one ;)

I have been wanting to put some tiles down in our garage for a long time now as I am fed up of trying to keep paint on the floor.
So I ordered some interlocking tiles from Interlock Ground Protection very helpful people.
The ten packs of tiles arrived at 10:30 am this morning easy installation with the dreaded Stanley knife they even send a white pen and cutting template tile makes the job idiot proof.
I would highly recomend the company 01273 453287 and speak to Paul
Here are some photos befor and after

Bloody hell that new cars costing you some money.

Im disappointed you can’t put under floor heating in.

You know Italians don’t like the cold and damp ?

Had similar in my old garage and found that when the sun was on them they expanded and lifted☹
Also when I had the 4 wheel drive car it seem to oust up a hump when reversing.
Yours may be different, they do make a floor look nice though?

is that an RD250 ? Love anything Kenny Roberts colors.

All that's in my garage is bikes too. Some very expensive ones, but you need to peddle mine in competitions to get any real value. ;)
