Garage storage solutions?

The item you want today is the one you thought you would not need for 1 month until you got to the place you were going to spend the next 6 weeks.

Just ask your partner who will be able to let you know after you have loaded everything up.

We've been emptying our Globecar now that we're getting a Carthago, hubby was 'allowed' to help and now I can't find a bloody thing! The camper's kitchen sink plug is missing, no doubt hiding somewhere right in the middle of it all!

I am NOT going to try to find it, if the buyer of our motorhome, or the dealer if we px it, is so desperate for the ruddy thing they'll have to wait until I've packed the Carthago and I'll post it to them!

He's also hidden my camper tool box along with other stuff that should have been kept accessible ... its driving me nuts! :madder:

There's no way he's gonna be allowed to pack ANYTHING into the Carthago as it's got that many lockers, cupboard etc that I'd never ever find the stuff again!

I have a huge 'Garage' and spent the last 2 years working on Ergonomics of this space. I have access to it from inside as well.
The key thing here is to work out what you need to put in it and how accessible you need those 'things' to be.
I am going to build my own storage system, based on ergonomic study.
Some of the photo posts in this thread are great.

Best of luck. Would like to see photos when job done.

Screwfix £26 racking. 400mm deep x 900mm wide. It comes in 2 x 900mm high pieces of which you only use half. Ours stands perfectly without being bolted down. Cliff fixed roofing batons to the back to make it more rigid.
