Hang on...which weekend was that?

Or was that a new red-coloured, non-fizzy cola in your wine glass Saturday evening?
haha yes Saturday evening was on cola ....proof in the U lounge pic :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:(did have a glass of bubby with Hilldweller and Mrs Hilldweller and a glass of red early in day)

darn cola has stained my teeth and vino would never do that :BigGrin:

Interesting route?

Surely I can't be the only one to have taken a double-take after looking at the map that came with my ticket, and the route they advise us lot from South Wales to take.

Off at M50 juntion 2, OK, but head RIGHT towards Gloucester instead of LEFT to Ledbury? I thought it was then advising the B4208, but then I realized there is no B4206 as shown on the map, as far as I can see, so that must be the B4208 and we need to use another road in between.

I don't expect the map to be perfectly proportional, but the one they've sent looks like it was drawn by Picasso in a spare 5 minutes

I'm tempted to head up the Ledbury way - I know part of that route. Mind you, the signs at Knutsford did work, even though they could have done with a few more, so if it points the other way....

Could anyone heading up the A449/M50 on Thursday (chrisboyo?) let us know which route you took and how you got on....much appreciated :thumb:

Hi

personally I would come off at junction 1 then follow A38 heading for upton on severn then follow signs to showground. Reasonable road I use it quite often with my 36 ft RV with the toad on the back so it can't be to bad.

seemed to work for us last year

Forgot to say on return from Knutsford we saw a sign pointing to the Malven showgrounds

I have been sorting out the route also using Sea france route planner(i norm find them spot on) it has given me two choices, one via Hereford - a 438 towards Ledbury the other route via Abergavenny - A449 towards the M50 Worcester but still meets up with Ledbury,

Sea France gives a choice like the sat navs, shortest, quickest etc

not checked what tom tom says yet  that will prob take me the scenic route like norm (even though on quickest shortest route groan)

Forgot to mention that the return from knutsford there was a sign pointing for the Malvern Showgrounds

The A438 Hereford - Ledbury, then around the Ledbury ring road (if you can call it that), is one I've used a few times when I was staying at the C&CC outside Hereford. Nice easy drive. The second route sounds like the way I thought they were going to advise for people coming from Glamorgan.

It looks like they're trying to avoid congestion around Ledbury.

Maybe I'll toss a coin as I get to each junction.

Hoorrraaay...

Off to Malvern after work tonight...

Will sleep in a layby near by...

If you go past me tomorrow morning on your way to the show please do not honk as this might wake me up... thanking you in advance...

JJ

If anyone is overnighting near to Malvern tonight, there is a handy carpark at Upton on Severn where several motorhomes will be parked

Hi. If I was going to Malvern in a small camper I would go the Ledbury way, but with our camper we go straight up to the first junctio up th e a38 and through upton it is more straight forward.

Booked up and everything but now can't make it due to parts of my anatomy giving me problems. Still that makes room for somebody else I suppose.

It's a real shame as I'd just had my chaps waxed specially.:Eeek:

Hope you all have nice weather.

I shall be on the couch

Dunno...there's usually line-dancing lessons tea-timish, but not sure whether that will be on Thursday or Friday.

Ask Chris (stewarding) to point out Stuart and Neil to you. They are SO up for it
