Putting my stickers on this week and leaving for the Alsace on Sunday, not sure where we are stopping on the way but always look out for the stickers.

Well that pretty much sums it up a couple of off beat comments, one that was spotted but ignored and another that rightly informs me it’s already been done but I’ve never seen it.

I think it’s a good indication of what Fun’s about! Currently 196 looks and 4 comments and lots of people peaking from the bushes and contributing nothing. A solid group that contribute whenever and wherever possible and I reckon if it wasn’t for these great contributors as good a number that Fun have it would die pretty quickly, just saying.

And of course, you being a member since 2014 and only posted 784 times really proves that point.... just saying

I’m not sure what’s going on in this thread, as there seems to be a bit of negativity creeping in, whether it’s miscommunication or something else ?

The OP made an excellent suggestion of creating a ‘spotted’ thread, without realising there was already one running and I’m not fully understanding why that would create negativity. I expected the thread would naturally fizzle out and any ‘spots’ would continue in the other place.

Many threads get loads of views, with only a few responses, that’s just they way they go sometimes.

Other than meeting a small number of ‘regulars’, I haven’t seen many Fun stickers on road or site and I don’t think my Fun sticker has ever made it in to the ‘spotted’ section, but I live in hope ?

Have you been to the 'water wall' and the rebuilt Roman villa/ vineyard yet ?
Only downside is the price of the camp site nowadays, but the stelplatz is still ( just about affordable

I’m not sure why you are having a dig, not important but when the site was reinvented a couple of weeks back for some reason my count went down as I understand did others.

I don’t comment for the sake of it, if someone’s already given the info I might have offered what’s the point of posting.

Thankfully looking at the above posts some Funsters are getting into the spirit of it and not trolling.

Absolutely super place we’ve extended by a day, good cycling,walking,eating,Oh and the Bitburghers not bad.
The whole Town is quite upmarket as you know.

The Spelplatz is currently €8pn, €1 for water,however, as per usual very few people are actually paying at the machine for the night.

I have a sticker and a big window thing, bit John doesn't like me putting them up. It's ok on a funster rally it seems, but not at other times. Will be displaying them on my day van though, and putting some decals on, only had 1 wave since I got it

We've just changed our motorhome, and I couldn't get the sticker off the window without tearing it, so I left it on there for the next owners to enjoy.

We've just changed our motorhome, and I couldn't get the sticker off the window without tearing it, so I left it on there for the next owners to enjoy.

Hoping ours comes off ok as its only been on for 3 weeks (4 by the time we do the switch), but if anybody sees a small (short) blue Hymercar after 13th July with a fun sticker at the back of the van then its us!
