Post early, post often Plan on going through and posting your photos at least once a week so you don’t get backlogged and feel overwhelmed. Ideally, post every day or two. Again, spend the time up front to make sure it’s quick and easy to post. It’ll make all the difference.

havent got teenager to do it for me
they are both over 21 by 9 yrs n 12.
corse i wouldnt want to give my age away
2 yrs 4 mnths to 1st pension pay day
not that i am counting:Tongue1:


without going through everyones log on name
where would be a common place to view the 365ers:thumb:
just to make it easier to find them

thought best show the nutter up in the sky bet it was cold
twas -4 when i took it this morning

Had a nice day today - didn't rain and the sun shone!:Smile:
Rex and Ray moved around the vans to catch the last of the suns rays!:Laughing:

well the camara i have had for 2-3 yrs
showed me somthing new it does all by itself
its in 365
pointed and clicked the sun at 9am today
and it auto focused and altered light setting
as well all i did was click see the result in link to 365

I have had a couple of people ask about being able to see all of the funsters 365's in one place, this is difficult as you would have to visit each funsters profile in turn. It has got me wondering where the facilities here on the forum are up to a job like this project. Is there a place we could upload the photos to that will be better than the forums limited photo storage? Any suggestions most welcome:Smile:

I use Image cave, J Album, photobucket, the first two have limited free storage and photobucket is full of adds and pop ups.. however..

Picasa may be an option, AFAIK it has no storage limit , if you set up an account and gave the password to those participating they could upload to their own albums .. ?

It's also possible to put your pics on the Picasa Google map
 
Sounds like a good idea Jim, out of all of those that you use who do you think might be best for a project. I think there are only half a dozen of us but it will be well over 2000 photos by the time we finish so unlimited uploads would be a priority as that could easily be a gb of space.

Just checked Picasa .. it has 1gb free .. after that it cost $20 for 10gb

The others are more expensive and have less free space.. I would go with Picasa..

I would happily contribute a share if we need the 10gb

as an aside, to anyone who worries about downloading an uploader, Picasa albums can be uploaded to without the uploader .. pheeww if you get my meaning .. but it saves resizing before uploading :Rofl1::Rofl1:

Hi Jim

I could not get on with Picasa3 so deleted and went back to Picasa 2.7 (I think) which I found did not take over my computer and I could manage more easily:thumb::thumb:

Just post them in an album called lugnut365 :Smile:

Our album is not really designed for holding so many pictures, so we are looking at storing them on Googles Picasa, that way all of our 365 albums will be together. :thumb:
 
Yesterday - beach scene - bit cold and blustery!:Smile:
Today - picture of our weather station tonight! - cold but not as cold as UK so we are not complaining!!:Rofl1:

Hi 365ers:Smile: Well that's the first week, just 51 to go:Eeek:.

I usually use an SLR camera but this morning I was using a compact camera on a tripod (something I have never done before) I was trying to take a picture of a glowing wood-burner. I had the compact in manual mode, another thing I had never done before. This little project is really good at keeping photography at the fore and I am enjoying the challenge and learning also.

Anyway, as you might have noticed earlier in this thread we are thinking of up loading the project to a proper album,as by the time we have finished we will have more than a gb of photos:Smile: we have made an Album called Funster365 and ScotJim assures me that it is easy to upload your pics to the album and has kindly offered to help any of us who get stuck.

Would all 365ers who are continuing with the project please PM Link Removed and he will give you the password for the album :thumb:
