hi any funsters use a full service pitch ,with the drain off in the middle of the van, operated from a lever ,,i have never had this in the past ,i always used pipes linked to the drain ,,but with this i cant seem to work out if i need to drive to the waste dump every time ,,thanks

My waste pipe discharge (2021 G741) is next to driver side rear wheel just below the valve
What year is your van ?

hi we have the g740 evidence ,,the waste comes out straight down when the lever is pulled ,,did the tank connector fit the existing hole ,,? if so what size was it ,,?

Does anyone have experience of the manual stabilisers fitted to the rear of their van. If so, what is the downside to using them and are there any you would recommend?I have a Carthago C tourer, max 4250kg.

Here's my solution. 32mm waste pipe that I had lying around.

Hi , I had a pilote 626U and had the same problem. I used a piece of 40mm white plastic and wrapped self amalgamating tape round it to make a seal , connected it to an elbow then another length of pipe on to which I fitted corregated waste pipe to drain. I later added a pipe click at the horizontal pipe nearest to the elbow and used a small piece of screwed rod threaded on to a place which was mounted on to a small square of wood this kept the pipe in place perfect for serviced pitches. Got it all in Screwfix minimum cost.

The elbow is glued into the outlet with stixall, from toolstation. I stuck a 12mm thick piece of ply to the tank insulation , and screwed a pipe clip to the ply. I used one of the bolts that holds the wet locker to hold a bracket, and again screwed a pipe clip to it.

We had them (prefitted) on our last van, a C tourer. We only used them very occasionally, mainly if we were stopping somewhere a while. No real disadvantage, but you do have to remember they are in use & don't try to drive off with them still down! The simple way to do that is to lay the stabiliser jack handle across the pedals.
