€1.81 works out at £1.55 with an exchange rate of 1.165. Cheaper in UK me thinks.

The ferry / tunnel cost is the killer for us at the moment, spending our pensions in the U.K. for now

90 litre tank. 10p per litre. £9 on a tank full. £9 is £9 to me. Couple of pints or a nice kebab. Worth a quick look on a petrol price app for.

Actually so a 20p difference in prices yesterday within 2 miles.

Hi there folks, we noticed that Calais is not cheap and so filled up long before we came to the port on the way home last time. The cheapest fule we have seen in the UK is at COSTCO - if you have an account. It is usually 10 - 12p cheaper than other places. We do get funny looks when we pull in to the line in the Motorhome but what the heck.
You can also pick up a box of brownies and a case of beer so all good.

Ironic that Russia & Belarus have the cheapest fuel prices, but surprising also how expensive some EU countries have become.

I don’t know where these prices are gathered but I haven’t paid more than €1.70 for diesel in Germany.

French diesel seems to last longer!

When I take it easy driving along D roads with light traffic, not only is it less stressful compared to driving on UK roads, but I get better mpg, even up to 36 mpg compared with 29 mpg in the UK.

Yes I did notice how French pump prices were a bit higher than in the UK but still worth it.

Just seen 1.73 at at Martin de re intermarche.
It wasn't that cheap 2 days ago.
Cheapest by 7 cents to anything we have seen

Just back, calculated circa €500 from Cherbourg to Roses Spain each way in ‘Gazole’ and Class three toll charges in our Winnebago getting 18 - 20 MPG

€2.30 we saw at one BP service station!

1,465€ here posh stuff a cent dearer than cheap stuff.
I topped up at a carrefour at Fruges @ 1,68€ on my way backa few weeks ago. worked out the same as the £1,43 in Brighton.Then I ran all the way & intended filling on exiting the som port tunnel but both cepsa & repsol where taking the episs so I filled in Jaca at Carrefours eroski pumps.

Heading North filled up at Costco Bristol today Diesel @137.9. 2p cheaper than the petrol.
