You have my sympathy. Have you tried claiming for your shoulder? Army shoes caused bony growths on my feet, which I had removed at a military hospital. I got compensation for it. They won't, however, give me anything for my bone-on-bone osteoarthritic knees, that badly need replacing, even though the trouble started years back in the army, because I soldiered on at the time, and didn't do anything about it, so therefore, it's not on my records I wish you luck with your shoulderYou have my greatest sympathy and I hope you get it sorted without too much trouble.
I am expecting problems as I get older after dislocating my shoulder when I was in the army. I get pain in my shoulder and pins and needles in my fingers occasionally. It’s probably not helped by being sent back to work straight after my shoulder was put back in place.
