Front marker lights (replacement)

I have an Autotrail Imala 730 and the offside front marker light has failed. I have tried to remove the lamp however the cable doesn’t pull through and appears trapped inside.
My vehicle has cupboards fitted above the cab and access to the rear of them for the wiring isn’t obvious.
Can anyone advise please?

Is it an led or a bulb that's failed?
If an led it's quite possible that they never planned for it to fail and either the cable is trapped or it may have been stapled in place for tidiness before the cupboards went in.
If its a filament lamp then they should have arranged for it to be replaceable somehow.
Hopefully someone who has met this before will respond.

In a similar situation, on my Adria, I found that the cable supplying the power to the unit had been 'splodged' in place with a couple of tons of sealant, and was extremely difficult to 'free-up', in order to allow the necessary 'wiggle room' in order to replace the failed LED unit.

bcolley y If its its one of the above then its probably stuck on with sealant. You have to cut round it to get it off then try to pull the wires through to get to the connections, I couldn't get the wire to come out to get to the connections so cut the wires and made a new connection

Also it may not be the LED, there is a connection box called Y203 on the chassis behind the nearside rear wheel the wires can get corroded there.

Thank you I’ll give it a go. I believe it will be the LED as it has water ingress in the lamp.

Yes it’s the LED type. I’ve now managed to replace it. Thanks
