From DFS to Race truck............Here Goes!!

Yeah the batteries are a fair old size 230ah each and 60kg, Go big or go home. Will be a a lot of 240v stuff to power so with the 1500w solar panels and 5kw inverter this should do the job.

well, ran out of lockdown so now i have to renovate a 3 storey building before december. Ground floor before end september. It was / is in shit shape but long term it will pay my retirement.

it's been a long time. been side tracked by a couple of renovations and still working on the offices. Now i belive that the solar ihave will be more than enough, however i have been thinking about a Durite vsr to top up the leisure batteries. The query i have is the lorry is 24v and the battery bank is 48v so can i fit the VSR to lorry batteries and then to a step up transformer to get the 48v for the leisure batteries? anyone know if this will work and is safe?
