Froli system, does it work with solid mattresses

I have a Hymer B654 and the rear bed is a bit too firm.
Will a froli system help, the current mattress isn't sprung, but a solid foam one.

If the base is just a slab of plywood or similar, then yes it will help.
It will also introduce air under the mattress which reduces mould and will make the bed warmer.

It will increase the height of the bed by about 2 inches and then need a bed surround to keep the mattress in place

Yes works a treat, fitted them to one of my Hymers, the last Hymer had their equivalent nowhere near as good as the Froli ones.

Yes, our Hymer Ayrs Rock had it fitted as standard and the mattresses are solid memory foam.

What’s the base, solid or slats.
Our Hymer drop down bed has slats with the Hymer Froli like things and a 100mm solid foam mattress. It’s the comfiest bed ever, far better than any bed we’ve ever had at home, we always sleep really well with no aches and pains when away in the motorhome.

Different colour ones have different tensions so you can design it as you wish https://www.froli.com/shop/schlafen-unterwegs?p=1 It was a while ago that we did ours but think that the light blue ones were lower tension for the shoulder area - we sleep the other way round now though so adjusted accordingly.
