Me again!
Fridge bulb has gone!! Max 3 watt. Just phoned caravan shop only to be told need make model znd production code to order csn take anything from 6 weeks to 6months!!! Please tell me this is not correct. In van for 3 monthd

Except the bulbs go into the PCB Tony, whereas in the fridge, it's the bulb holder which twists into the board, ie, the wing type connections are reversed.

Did you ever get your fridge bulb issue sorted Sue?

I am struggling with the same issue. :(

Cheers,

Jock. :)

The photos don't do the transformation justice, but believe me, we are talking 100% plus improvement. (y)

Thanks to all who contributed to the thread. :)

This one?

That is not the same bulb as the Dometic one Dayne, which I already pointed out earlier in the thread, ie, the terminals are reversed.

I would have preferred the 48 x diode unit myself Al, but it would have been too wide for the roof of the light fitting.

I really didn't want a blue light in there which most of the modern fridges seem to have. It's cold enough in there as it is, without pretending it is.

Jock. ;)

I would have gone for the larger unit but i'm going to try and fit the unit in the existing light fitting, I will keep the site informed (y) ;)
