There has to be a better solution than the factory fitted ones?Has anyone come across a better method, preferably bluetooth please?

I’m interested in 2 if there is a group buy. Grey sensor says it’s full even when empty - yes I’ve cleaned the sensors!

I've given up relying on the readings, it's always suspiciously inaccurate. Subsequently if l see a water tap, no matter where, l fill the tank up with my watering can. If l do that every day, might only be a dozen litres or so and doesn't take long. I only use the water for washing, cooking etc after boiling. Bottled drinking water is just for that alone.

I've just sent them an email to see if they deliver to the UK and how much.
I'll post the answer when I get a reply.
This seems an ideal answer to my problem.
Amazon have them, I have tried contacting them and never had a reply yet I will be watching with interest🤔

I've just had the same reply from them, I'll do some more digging and report if I find a way round the delivery problem
Here’s a dealer in Poland if that’s any help?

Hi funsters

I have found a friendly american Mopek supplier, he is keen to make sales. My brother bought one fom him for me, so the seller is authorised and the item is genuine Mopek.

I am suggesting to him a multi buy option option of maybe 10 water sensors , although he can't avoid shipping/postage would be $122, !!!! .. between 10 of us that's $12 each.

He has not got back to me yet, and says he can raise an invoice payable by a secure system for shipping to UK.

How many would be interested?
I could have 10 delivered to my address and take them along to Norwich Show, and meet with you to sell at cost+postage, nothing added.

We'll see what our american friend can sort for us.

That is pretty good pricing.
If you want to meet up at Norwich Motorhome Show it will save further postage costs.

There are only a limited number available as I have had to shell out in advance for the american transaction.

I fitted mine two days ago and it works as expected. I put my tanks height in as a starting point and then emptied the tank completely. The app showed that I still had 10% left. I played around with the tank heights but couldn't better the 100% full and 10% when empty. At least I now know when I'm running short.
I'm on a site at the moment where I cannot level the van completely and it's put the readings out by 4% or 5%.
Comparing the readings of the new sensor against the vans panel readings shows the vans readings of 25% and 50% are accurate when filling, but totally inaccurate when emptying.
Overall I'm now happy with the system and would recommend it to others

I’ll be looking at the access to my tanks st the weekend to see how easy it will be to fit to the bottom on the outside ( I originally thought they were fitted internally which would have been easy).
Fingers crossed I will be hoping to buy one or two if still available.

I had a reply from them saying rhey do not deliver to the UK because. Of the unrealistic postage costs. They added they hope to appoint a uk retailer”soon”
If they don't ship to the U.K., you can use a U.S. mail forwarding service - I have one that does the EU and the US. They just charge per item when I use it. This is the one I use, there are lots of others.

Fitted 2 of these,1 on fresh water and 1 on grey.Apart from one not adhering correctly(which was my fault)they are far better than the factory fitted ones.I know now for example i need about 10% of my tank for a decent shower. It is really accurate and does take away the guess work.

I fill up our clear plastic tank to 100% with fresh water right to the top, 100 ltrs, then stick a steralised 12” ruler in and measure the water height, which can easily see.
Then marked the tank on the side at full, 3/4, half , 1/4 and low.
Quick check every day and if need a top up, the 6 litre watering can fills at a rate of 3 fills to the next level as a fairly accurate guide, and I measure the waste out in 6 litre amounts to keep levels constant, so 2 6 litre buckets out equates to 2x6 litre watering cans in.
Total cost:
Ruler 99p
Marker pen 99p
Watering can £3.99
Bucket 3.99
Total £9.96
Works for me 😊

Going to be a bugger to fit one of those monitor thingies then.
I wish you good luck.
If you want to borrow my ruler, let me know😂

Although my guage is fairly accurate I only really look at to confirm what I already know. If you use your van regularly you soon get to know your water consumption.
e. g. Full tank if we both have a shower every day lasts 4 days if we miss a few showers 6 - 7 days. Exception being if we use the washing machine.
Have you been to Italy?
