I've just logged in and bought 10 trips so might be worth another look. My old wallet ran out last summer so not a top up. I can share 4 trips if anyone wants them. This was at 22.15 today.

Unless it has changed recently you can't add a sharing partner later. They can only be added when you first set up your frequent traveller account.

Yes you can add another partner at any time now, so the original 'wallet' owner doesn't have to commit to sharing it immediately although of course once they do share it the same 'end date' applies regardless of when the partner was added during the period of the wallet.

There's nothing to stop you having a second wallet with the same person.

We bought our last frequent traveller in mid May 2019. No need to add to it yet as they have kindly extended it for another 12 months FOC . At that time you could only add a partner when you started it. I know that because I had a right kerfuffle to add our Son on ours an hour after I bought it. They let me do so but it took a lot of persuading. So it must have changed since then.

Interesting just checked our accout which was due to expire in Nov 20 it was extended to Feb 21 and now it shows as February 2022.

So if we top-up using the same wallet the extra crossings will be valid for 19 months rather than 12.

Be interested to know if you are able to top up (wouldn't let us this morning) thought top ups we're 12 months from the date you buy them.
