French aires

We find almost all aires by a combination of the guides and tomtom point of interests.
Many guides, such as 'all the aires' have the gps co-ordinates next to the description which will guide you, mostly, to within yards of the aire.

I recognised the pics of the murals in Chaunay straight away!
Friends of ours have a lovely gite in a little hamlet just outside the town.
Gill is the scottish lady in the hotel.
We have had some lovely times there.

Most of the Aires have dumping facilities and water odd times we have not been able to find an Aire and just parked discreately in a village car park and as for water if there is non available find the local cemetery there is always a water tap inside the gate to fill up a few bottles in an emergency. Also if there is no water when you dump your black waste on the Aire get a bucket of water from your grey waste to wash your cassette out with and then dump down with as well.
