agree mate , but the principle of the thing is what i ment for these old mhs we see on here sometimes.
Actually, SWMBO has had a 1980 MGB GT for the last 18 months and it’s her daily driver ?. It’s not been without hassle since she got it so the spanners have been out on a regular basis. Touch wood it’s going ok at the moment ....... free from road tax and an MOT from next year........ good idea in theory but heater is crap and brakes are average. Cheap though ....... to buy at least ?
 
Funnily enough I have seen quite a few restored Herald’s recently.

I remember when I was a kid that I liked them and my Dad telling me the Vitesse was fast.

Agree. I think the theory is that most old cars are just trundled down to the nearest car show and back again so get lots of TLC ........ However, there’s cars like ‘er indoors MGB that get a run most days. You want that to be safe on the road for everyone’s sake!
