Congratulations Frankie on your new Van and JJ on having a happy lady :thumb:

What are you going to name the van Frankie?

Well, been thinking of a few names. I would like it short male and french/English/German . Up to now one comes first place. It s a compromise of Maxime, Max.and Maxence in German which gives Max in short....and...I hope this van will give me a max of enjoyment so there....Max is my today favorite!

Amazing what you can get done in a little under a week...

Drive 1200 kms from Toulouse to Germany.

Trawl around motorhome dealers (10, I think).

Choose one van... a Hymer Camp 51 on a Fiat with 2.5 turbo diesel engine.

Get export plates and German insurance.

Arrange French insurance.

Drive back single handed (Frankie, not me) 1200 kms to Toulouse dropping the rental car at Strasbourg airport on the way (and listening to City winning the Capital 1 Cup, me... not Frankie of course).

What did you do last week Funsters?

JJ (aka Super Mechanic)

Enjoy and safe travels xx

You're obviously too polite to say it, but you also achieved in a week what some men would take a year to do.
YOU MADE A WOMAN HAPPY :thumb:

RESPECT MAN :Cool::Cool:

I have to say Frankie that looks so much like the one you asked me to look at for you (which is still up for sale by the way) only 100 times better.......well done. :thumb:

It's a very nice day today...sunny and bright and warm as well....
...Time for Big Hymer to leave and go back to Portugal....
Little Hymer Max is all on his own now, I can see how sad he is...
He's gonna miss his Big Mate:Sad:

JJ has gone and Frankie too is now alone:Sad:

.....Hopefully summer will come quickly....and may be Max will have his papers by then and will be able to plan some travel down Portugal:Wink:
