France travel

With respect - If you’ve never been to the french alps, how would you know?

(Not saying you’re wrong by the way)
Fair cop.

To be fair, I’ve been to a few French alpine resorts in summer and up to Mont Blanc over the glacier. Even seen mint Blanc from the air in summer (not by airplane (see photo)).

But I’ve always been put off. I loved the Pyrenees as it was always mainly French & Spanish locals / French & Spanish tourists. Very down to earth and friendly .

Unlike the snobbery of some French and Austrian resorts

YAY!!! ROADTRIP!!!!! we are going!!! 🇫🇷🎿🥂🍾
Magic enjoy, just booked tunnel for 25th, couple of days down to tunnel from Lanarkshire, 3rd time in trying, no real plans 4 or 5 weeks and see where we end up.. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇨🇵. Only downside missing the Cardiff rugby trip 🥺.

Just managed to redeem our Eurotunnel ticket which was due to expire at 12 months. Travel delayed and booking altered five times due to COVID.

Now out on 1st Feb @ 0920hrs and return on 14th Feb @ 0920hrs. That was the last day we could travel before our ticket lapsed but it is better than losing it altogether.

Plans laid to tour Brittany with a route marked out but, dependent on weather, we may head further south. Isn’t that one of the pleasures of motorhoming, being able to alter plans at the last minute.
