FLT? Roquetas de Mar. Read on

It's more than full. There's a PVC parked up (not in a bay) waiting for this Funster to leave tomorrow.
I don't think they have spaces going forward but I will ask if you want.
Thanks butnot ready to move yet, just wondering how busy it was elsewhere this year?

I think you're making a lot of assumptions. Ive stayed at roqueatas a few times . Granted ive not seen quite as many vans as in those pics and there are bits you can park away from everyone else....ive done it.

But there are several drinking fountains for water and as far as i could see there was no waste or rubbish dumped around. Most if the vans drove to a nearby aire to dispose of waste. Campers around there are certainly not a new thing and over winter they seem to be welcome or like other places the police would have cleared them out.

Not my cup of tea being parked in amongst that lot ...but roquetas is a lovely town with a great beach and lots of bars and shops etc which im sure benefit quite a bit financially from most of those vans
I agree that the winter influx of motorhomes benefits the town, especially the promenade cafes and bars, just wish we could be there in January. Sadly our favourite brit eatery Lady Lay has closed down, they served great Sunday lunches for €9. We've not yet cancelled our winter trip departing 4 January but it looks inevitable.

hi,
i totally agree its a lovely place to stay

when we were there the locals made us feel welcome, we and other motorhomers helped out at the local dog charity and supported local bars and restaurants.

Thought you liked cullera 😉
I do Tam, sadly closed now. However, Morocco will always have a special place in my heart.
