Better news the flat is undamged but the corridors need cleaning where the fire brigade trudged through while checking the flats were emptied. The entrance and ground floor a wrecked though. Could be weeks before she gets back in but nobody hurt so thats a blessing.

Glad all ok for your daughter as far as her flat goes. Might take a while to get back in though. Really feel for those on the ground floor. Water takes no prisoners.

luckily no flats on the ground floor just reception and bike store all ruined.
There are business units one had just started to be fitted out into a gym so not nice for them.

The dilemma continues. We are now stuck with my daughter in Barbados flight cancelled. Had to pay for expensive hotel for two nights and flying home via jfk with a 9 hour layup before flight home.
Happy new year not yet. Just hope Aer Lingus will pay our expense’s.
