What happened to the little flag that showed what country you where in ? Just wondering that’s all not very important but wanted to know in case I have switched something off

We were in Poland last week and the flag showed a Polish one

If you are using your British phone data it will show Union flag. Will only show different country if you purchase data or use the WiFi there.

I turned ours off - I don't want "the internet" to know when I'm outside of the country!

(also you can lie with VPN)

But no added value to "you" IMO - and a little dangerous if internet people know you are away. (We tend to only post stuff to socials when we're back)

I turned mine off last year Howard but I can’t remember how I did it. It’s somewhere in your profile in Fun though. Nothing to do with your ordinary phone settings.

Mine would show I was in a different country when I used my ordinary O2 data abroad.
