I’ve got a truma combi 4 (403) in my pilote Mooveo, it’s stopped working no lights no nothing. Last working before the wet winter break. Q is, do I send it for repair (as well as whatever fault I’ve broken a power pin on the PCB) or do I upgrade it to a more modern truma unit, we love the MH and she will be with us for the next decade we hope. Does anyone have any experience swapping the combi heaters out for a newer model or a replacement ? Dan

Supporting photo. Dismantled the seat to make repair or replacement possible

There may be little wrong with it so a huge expense for little gain possibly.

I see mentioned here on and off that there is a small fuse in the pcb that can blow, worth checking but then you would need to establish why it blew.

BTW I’m a make do and mend type of guy

Usually the same but the dismantle was vast to remove it and having it back out in another 6 months after a pcb repair will taste a little sour

In reply to previous. Fuses checked, nothing blown. Power to the unit was fine. I’m a mechanical engineer (aeronautical) but with limited electrical understanding. No idea how I would test this PCB with my limited kit and knowledge
