fishing match and family fun weekend

Morning all, from a sun kissed Wolvey.

Yesterday was a great day weatherwise, and it's looking to be the same today. There weren't many fish caught........unless you were on peg No 29. Robbie was catching them all as they came round the bend. This is the guy you want to by your next lottery ticket for you. Having won several things this weekend, he obviously has the "midas" touch.
The social atmosphere in the marquee, Rofl1, was excellent with a quiz, darts, and dominoes for those that wanted them, all organised by Tanky.

A great weekend in all, and on behalf of Rita and myself, I would like to thank Alan, (The Legend), and Allen, (Tanky), and others who helped for their efforts to provide a smashing time. Cheers lads. :beer:

hi all
well arrived home around 2pm after another fantastic weekend, sorry its taken 4hrs for the post but needed a kip (i was knackered)
well the results of the fishing were.
3rd, haganap
2nd, tanky
1st, robbie

the results of the darts were
winner robbie
runner up haganap

the results of the domino's were
winners sparkyspeedy and ash (see at least ASH won something)

we also raised £158.50 for the RNLI so a big thankyou to you all:thumb::thumb:
and i must say a big thankyou to you all for your support..

A big thankyou from us to Alan and Tanky for a great weekend as usuall the welcome was fantastic, and it was great to meet up with old friends and make new.

If anyone has never been to a Motorhome Fun rally do give it a go it's great fun.

It's a good job the Americans didn't know Bin Laden was hiding out in the marqee saturday night.

fishing match / fun rally

Thanks to Tanky and Alan for organising a splendid weekend.

Although Paul didn't manage to get first prize for fishing, he did manage joint first with Ash at the dominos so he came away happy.

We met some old and new friends, the weather was great and food and drink a plenty. All in all a good meet and we are looking forward to the next one.
