First and last time on a proper Campsite!

I find the tree situation unacceptable, why have a Motorhome site with trees that could damage your van. Makes no sense.
For shade, it's over 40° in summer, most of the sites were designed for tents & caravans 40 or 50 years ago.

In Spain during the summer, a partly shaded site is what most people search for. In the winter months you may want maximum sunlight, with perhaps a windbreaking wall. The problem with trees in the summer can be too much shade for your solar panel if you intend staying for a few days.

Except it’s not a Campsite but a Camperstop, probably the best one with large plots in the whole of Spain, sadly in the middle of nowhere.

Or in the middle of everywhere. Depending on your needs. Access to the coast, shops, mountains.

Have to disagree on this one,if you are on foot which we like straight from the MH it’s not easy here l know the bus is available.
Its a good place to relax and the owners are super friendly as we got to know them well staying a week or so and being one of the first visitors they had.
As an aside the Service Point has to be the best in the world😳 if l remember correctly there are six of them.

Happy to accept your disagreement 😂👍.

We have our EMTB's so using them to get around from remote places is so easy, and what we prefer.

We all have different ideas of what's a good place. Strangely, the one at Mazarron wouldn't be one of ours, too busy, and neither would a Beni campsite. But thousands love them.

We stayed at La Bouganville a couple of months ago, nice hardstanding pitch, a little bit of shade from a tree, Pool and restaurant area were fine as was the bus service into Marbella, have seen worse shanty towns on some aires, none at all visible from the top of the site where we were. Met some great folk on the site, doubt we would go back as we didn't like Marbella. We did struggle to finde the toilet waste disposal though, oddest we (I, John doesn't do emptying )have ever seen.

They have trees to provide shade in the hot summers they have down there and most good sites will prune them so that you don’t get scratches😊

The pruning will be starting soon, once this still quite warm weather, comes to an end.

Clarification, I wasn’t talking about the canopy, only low branches on approaching roadways. I wouldn’t advocate wholesale deforestation, just the ability to get to the pitch without having to deflect low branches.
