The knee jerk is what the political & police response is to any problem. ****everyone up rather than addressing the actual culprits. This is why they are all looked upon as the scum they are on par with the criminals.
& No ,what I have always lived my life by & would never hesitate to back up . Until we kill them there is no hope .It has got progressively worse for the whole of my life & one of the reasons that I left the UK fearing I'd either end up in prison or dead confronting it daily . It's still a likelihood having to return there each year.

Whist people are content to get on with there own life ,shut the door & look the other way nothing will change.

Returning to the Op then how does he legally get another number plate when abroad ? How do I get a metal spanish plate if needed when in the UK or elsewhere. Under the "rules" not legally possible. therefore like most rules,regs,laws & eu directives drawn u with no thought to how anything interacts.

Primerilly a show plate is sold to you "not for road use" and can flout any or all regulations regarding supply and manufacture and contain adds logos etc
thats the one referd to earlier as none excistant

If the plate has only all the legal requirements printred on it and was supplied without documents
it becomes a vehicle registration plate illegaly suplied

The rules on making numberplates always seem rather farcical to me when you can go online - and have been able to for years - and buy plates made abroad that are then posted to the UK. They even do a next day service!

I confess I've used them as it's just easier than getting plates made locally.

Yes it isn't much different here but it doesn't affect me if I rarely go out. On the occasions I do I rarely get past the front gate before exploding .
In the UK I had to work so had problems on a daily basis .
I stay away from areas ,like next door in almeria, where I am likely to end up in confrontations with the guardia as they are over employed & have nothing better to do than block junctions & roundabouts every morning. & yes I never pass up an argument with any one guns or not & on behalf of others if necessary if they are being tucked up, put upon ,being deceived, scammed , being given false info; ( quite common here).
& at the moment, & from your first snide remark, you are seriously winding me up.

The op wants a number plate not reasons why some twat in supposed authority thinks he shouldn't have it as it is easier to crack down on all instead of the scum.
You 'll be telling me next you agree with vehicle seizure. You wouldn't if you came home & were told you couldn't enter your house as you hadn't paid the electric, water, gas , rates etc; & the office was shut till Monday & when you did gain entry some tea leaf had nicked stuff.
They wouldn't do it to your house so why your vehicle?
