Hopefully kitty will relax like these two. Thanks for the reminder about the videoing. It's something I've meant to do in the early days of renting, but haven't always. More relevant now that it is our own.
Unfortunately, our drive is hardly big enough for our car, let alone our motorhome. We intend to do a couple of shorts drives, without any overnight stays, so our kitty can get used to it, and get her scent all over it. Then we'll try our first over-nighter, just for one night.
Excellent, well done guys.Well, after talking a good job since I retired just over two years ago, we have today finally pulled the trigger...

A two-year old Expedition C72.
Our first van. Went out yesterday to look at ten vans at seven locations. The first one didn't do it for us. This was the second one we saw and we both had that 'think this is the one' feeling. Went to look at the next one, but not impressed. Looked again at our list and sacked it off there and then. I phoned the dealer and said we would be back today to look at it in more detail and take it for a test drive.
Picking it up next week.
We are both as giddy as a pair of giddy things that fell out of the giddy tree and into the giddy pond, hitting every branch on the way down.
We said, when we started looking seriously a few months ago, that our first over-nighter would be on Marine Drive at Scarborough, but the council have recently put the kibosh on that by banning overnight parking. Will have to think about somewhere else now.
Now, to sort out all those pesky necessary things like insurance, security and storage etc.
I'll be back on here to ask (many) questions.
