Just got my motorhome last week and decided to go for a Safefill bottle. Went and filled it at my local Morrison's, all fairly straightforward apart from being asked to park my electric car on the other side of the forecourt to the LPG pumps because of risk! Didn't bother arguing ...
Anyway, went back there today to refill it and got turned away. The guy behind the till said they don't allow cylinder refills, it needs to be 'attached to a vehicle'. I tried arguing about Morrison's partnership with Safefill to no avail. He phoned his manager who also said no. He said MFG have taken over the Morrison's petrol station and they don't allow cylinder refills.
Really cheesed off to say the least. Apart from the wasted journey it leaves me wondering where I can refill my cylinder. The next nearest on mylpg.eu is 13 miles away but that's another Morrison's so may well have the same issue.
Has anyone else had trouble filling a Safefill?
