Just an afterthought,if you've had a blowout and your at side of road I don't think you'll have an air impact hammer with you haha 🙂

This does the job on mine.

Just spoke to a Spanish Moho owner next door, and he says that if a Spanish Moho is supplied with Spare Tyre, Jack ect, they must be carried by Law ?
Anyone know if this is Correct ? and if it is, is it for All Moho's or just Spanish...

I must be lucky, changed 3 wheels over the years at the side of the road and never had a problem. Jack supplied is a bit of a pain though, keep meaning to buy a bottle jack.

I dare say I could have changed my front wheel if necessary and the conditions were right.

However, I only ever had one slow puncture on a rear wheel and took it to a tyre dealer in Spain to fix before heading home. Because of the vans fancy side trim it meany the body had to be lifted separately to the axle so the wheel could be lowered off the hub. Two big trolley jacks needed so I would never have been able to do it and I suspect at the side of the road it would have been difficult, depending which side it was, even for a call out assistant

Have you tried it?
How safe is it on that scissor jack?
Did you need a big breaker bar?
Yes, I have a large bottle Jack and a DeWalt cordless heavy duty impact wrench! Simples.

So now you want me to carry a spare wheel and and big jack and a wheel gun and Im fit enough to change it. On the outside chance that I might need it one day?
And have the spare capacity to carry it all.

My Adria has a spare in the rear garage, Ducato chassis

I'm not sure Ducato vans come with a spare wheel as standard. I can't see your average delivery driver being expected to change a wheel

In my case " two guys had to use a wood baton and a lump hammer "to free it.A reliable mechanic has told me he has come across this many times but a smear of copper slip stops the moisture at the back of wheel which causes it.
Sounds like these two guys had their "City and Guilds "qualifications!

My Adria PVC spare is located underneath the rear of the van.
2021 SGX.

No, you choose for yourself I just hope, for your sake, there's a phone signal if you breakdown.

I just can't bring myself to carry a spare wheel when I've not needed one for well over 20 years. This year was eleven years and 100k miles just in a motor home.
