If you have done the adjustments, is there something that's stopping it from retracting in the housing? We have a Fiamma F45s awning and it doesn’t close up on the end opposite the winder.
I’ve done the adjustment to tension the fabric, Whig h is supposed to fix it but no still doesn’t go fully on.
Any suggestions
Cheers

We fixed ours (although a Thule), but adding a small piece of gorilla tape to the roller just at the rear end. Wound out awning fully and then unscrewed the plastic cover over the roller to expose it.We have a Fiamma F45s awning and it doesn’t close up on the end opposite the winder.

That will be my next moveWhen fully wound out have you measured the distance from the cassette to the front rail? Are they the same ( within a few mm )!
Finally got to reply , I sorted my awning, not perfect but a lot better, by using your gorilla tape solution. We fixed ours (although a Thule), but adding a small piece of gorilla tape to the roller just at the rear end. We had to go back in and put a second smaller bit on top to make it perfect! Finally got to reply , I sorted my awning, not perfect but a lot better, by using your gorilla tape solution.
Thanks
That’s the way to do it but first of all mark the existing positions, you only have to move them slightly to make a difference. It’s the ones on the wind out part that you need to adjust. That will be my next move
Thanks for the other suggestions, I’m going to also play about with arm positioning
I had already fully adjusted the Fiamma adjuster which hadn’t helped but the extra tape on it did. That’s the way to do it but first of all mark the existing positions, you only have to move them slightly to make a difference. It’s the ones on the wind out part that you need to adjust.
I’m don’t know which part you are saying is the adjuster but I’m talking about where the arm is attached to the awning front when wound out. You slacken them off with an Allen key and reposition them slightly, this adjustment will send the awning back in providing you go the right way.I had already fully adjusted the Fiamma adjuster which hadn’t helped but the extra tape on it did.
I may try that. The adjuster I used is the one on the drum on the left end, opposite to winderI’m don’t know which part you are saying is the adjuster but I’m talking about where the arm is attached to the awning front when wound out.
