As mentioned in another current post, we have never caught the correct eurotunnel crossing, always earlier. As we all know the ET is now expensive so thinking about ferries. But do they generally allow travel any earlier than your booked crossing?

I have done with dfds both ways this year .
When I had the dog I always used to book a flexi when travelling dunkirk to Dover so could use any ferry 72 hrs before or after the booked one with no cahrge

Was two hours early going out and 1 and half hours early coming back, No problem.

Our 1st Motorhome
We're using DFDS for this trip - I believe the Economy rate for the Dover-Calais route gives you flexibility (subject to availability) of +/- 4hrs.
