it got mentioned on a different thread, but I am going to stop over at Glencaple on Thursday night next week on my way up, not been before but a good few have, looks a good spot a few miles south of Dumfries for anybody who hasn't heard of it

Will be doing a 6:00 Chinese with G + T for anybody fancying joining me (us) a couple of others may be there @Debs @Brendan @lorger @Allan & Loren ?? the more the merrier, doesn't seem to be an issue with space

but just checking with those that have been before, is this where you park?

Yes you park there. It's a popular spot but room for 16 vans or so and leaving the front clear for cars.

David you just park on the Quay as per your pic, as Snadra says it gets busy but I'm sure you'll be fine on a Thursday. If for any reason it's full just get in touch and I'll sort you with another nice place.
